No matter the size of the construction project, the Liaison/Advocate will be the client’s biggest ally at every step, making the entire process easier and smoother from start to finish. 

• Industry Knowledge 

As a professional with construction expertise, I will guide you through the entire process. I possess in-depth knowledge of all aspects of residential construction, which allows me to oversee everything from the selection of the architect and contractor to the final walk through. In short, I keep all key aspects of the project progressing while keeping the client informed of every step.

When not planned efficiently and executed effectively, a project can quickly run over budget. I will guide the design steps to make sure the project is designed to the client’s budget and specific design requirements and then monitor the costs through construction to ensure the project stays on budget, unless the client wants to add to the design. 

• Communication 

The team personalities and duties that come during the project process can often get off balance. To maintain communication between the team, I serve as a Liaison between them and you. Unexpected challenges and changes will often occur.  That is just the nature of the business. I will communicate between the parties and resolve concerns. Rest assured; the advocate always represents what is in the client’s best interest.

As an added stressor, the project involves the client’s most precious possession: their home, which is the very center of their family’s lives. For most clients, this may be the first time they have ever undertaken a construction project, so they are inexperienced and afraid of the unknown. Having the Client Liaison/Advocate as a trusted partner to give guidance and support during the entire process can significantly reduce the stress level.

We meet with you, your contractor, architect and others to determine what your goals and expectations are. We formulate a strategy to ensure the project runs according to plan by staying on top of schedules and working closely with the design team to minimize delays and maximize efficiency.

Working with trusted subcontractors, we keep them accountable throughout the entire build. From sequence to production and quality control, we stay focused on your goal. 

The last step in any build. This phase includes site cleanup, systems training, final inspections and move-in coordination. After completion, we have a final walkthrough to ensure your complete satisfaction. We will finish the process by presenting you with a portfolio of all the important documents, diagrams and photographs that you will be able to refer to long after the craftsmen have gone.
